Power Circuits
- Check for battery voltage between PCM power terminal and ground. See POWER & GROUND CIRCUIT TERMINAL IDENTIFICATION . See Fig 1 . If battery voltage does not exist, check appropriate PCM f use in underhood fuse box. See PCM POWER CIRCUIT FUSE IDENTIFICATION . If fuse is okay, check for an open in wire between underhood fuse box and appropriate PCM power circuit terminal. See WIRING DIAGRAMS section.
- Turn ignition on. Check for battery voltage between appropriate PCM power circuit terminal and ground. See POWER & GROUND CIRCUIT TERMINAL IDENTIFICATION
. If battery voltage does not exist, check appropriate fuse in underhood fuse box. See PCM POWER CIRCUIT FUSE IDENTIFICATION
. If fuse is okay, check for open in wire between fuse box and appropriate PCM power circuit terminal, and check for defective ignition switch. See WIRING DIAGRAMS
