Ignition Key Switch Test

SRS components are located in this area. Review the SRS component locations, precautions, and procedures in the SRS before performing repairs or service (see COMPONENT LOCATION INDEX ).

1. Remove the driver's pocket.
2. Disconnect the 2P connector from the dashboard wire harness B.

3. Check for continuity between the terminals in each switch position.
   • With the ignition key inserted, there should be continuity.
   • With the ignition key removed, there should be no continuity.
4. If the continuity is not as specified, replace the steering lock assembly.
