Engine Will Not Start: Notes

NOTE: If engine will not start, MIL always or never illuminates, and no Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC) are set, check MIL circuit. See MALFUNCTION INDICATOR LIGHT (MIL) MALFUNCTION in appropriate SELF-DIAGNOSTICS article. If engine will not start and immobilizer indicator light is illuminated, check immobilizer system. See appropriate IMMOBILIZER SYSTEMS article in ACCESSORIES & EQUIPMENT. If engine will not start, Malfunction Indicator Light (MIL) works properly, and no Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) are set, check following components:
