Clutch Interlock Switch Test

  1. Disconnect the clutch interlock switch connector, then remove the clutch interlock switch (see CLUTCH PEDAL, CLUTCH PEDAL POSITION SWITCH, AND CLUTCH INTERLOCK SWITCH ADJUSTMENT ).
  2. Check the clutch interlock switch connector terminals for continuity. There should be no continuity between the terminals with the switch (A) released, and there should be continuity with the switch pressed.

  3. If the clutch interlock switch is faulty, replace it.
  4. Install the clutch interlock switch, and adjust it (see CLUTCH PEDAL, CLUTCH PEDAL POSITION SWITCH, AND CLUTCH INTERLOCK SWITCH ADJUSTMENT ).
