Starter Switch Signal: Odyssey

  1. Place transmission in Neutral or Park position (A/T). Turn ignition switch to START position. Backprobing, measure voltage between PCM connector "A" (31-pin connector) terminal No. 26 (Brown/Black wire) and PCM connector "E" (31-pin connector) terminal No. 8 (Blue/Orange wire). See Figure. If battery voltage does not exist, go to next step. If battery voltage exists, starter switch signal is okay.
  2. Inspect No. 13 (7.5-amp) fuse in driver's underdash fuse/relay box. If fuse is okay, repair open in Blue/Orange wire between driver's underdash fuse/relay box and PCM connectors. If fuse is not okay, repair short in Blue/Orange wire between driver's underdash fuse/relay box, PGM-FI main relay and/or PCM connectors. See WIRING DIAGRAMS article. Replace fuse.
