Camber Adjustment

  1. Compare camber settings with vehicle manufacturer recommendations. See WHEEL ALIGNMENT SPECIFICATIONS  . If camber is incorrect, raise and support front of vehicle. Remove front wheels. Loosen and adjust 2 flange nuts by moving bottom of damper within range of damper pinch bolt free play. See Fig 1 . Tighten flange nuts to specifications. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  . Go to next step.
  2. Install front wheels and lower front of vehicle. Bounce front of vehicle several times to stabilize suspension. Measure camber. If measurement is within specification, measure toe-in. See TOE-IN ADJUSTMENT  . If camber is still incorrect, check for bent or damaged suspension components.
