Drive Belt Inspection

  1. Inspect the belt for cracks or damage. If the belt is cracked or damaged, replace it.
  2. Check that the indicator (A) on the auto-tensioner housing is not beyond the edge of the indicator rib (B) on the tensioner base. If it is beyond the edge of the indicator rib, replace the drive belt (see DRIVE BELT INSPECTION ).
