Alternator Replacement1. Make sure you have the anti-theft code for the radio, then write down the customer's radio station presets.
2. Disconnect the negative cable from the battery first, then disconnect the positive cable.
3. Remove the drive belt.
4. Disconnect the 4P connector (A) from the alternator (B), and disconnect the BLK wire from the alternator B terminal (C).
5. Remove the mounting bolts, then remove the alternator.
6. Install the drive belt.
7. Connect the positive cable to the battery first, then connect the negative cable.
8. Enter the anti-theft code for the radio, then enter the customer's radio station presets.
9. Set the clock.
10. Do the engine control module (ECM) idle learn procedure.
