Driving Pattern
- Start the engine.
- Accelerate the vehicle to a speed of 40 mph (64 km/h) under conditions that illuminate the IMA motor assist level gauge while the IMA battery charge gauge indicates 10 through 18 segments.
- Decelerate gradually by applying the brakes.
- Drive the vehicle in this manner only if the traffic regulations and ambient conditions allow.
