Ignition Switch Test

1. Do the battery terminal disconnection procedure (see .
2. Remove the steering column upper and lower covers (see ).
3. Disconnect the 7P connector (A) from the ignition switch (B).

4. Check for continuity between the terminals in each switch position according to the table below.

5. If the continuity checks do not agree with the table below, replace the steering lock (ignition) switch (see STEERING LOCK REPLACEMENT ).
6. After reconnecting the battery, enter the anti-theft codes for the audio system, then set the clock.
