ECT Sensor 2 Replacement

  1. Drain the engine coolant (see COOLANT REPLACEMENT ).
  2. Raise the vehicle on a lift (see LIFT AND SUPPORT POINTS ).
  3. Remove the splash shield (see SPLASH SHIELD REPLACEMENT ).
  4. Disconnect the ECT sensor 2 connector (A), then remove ECT sensor 2 (B).

  5. Install the parts in the reverse order of removal with a new O-ring (C), then refill the radiator with engine coolant (see COOLANT REPLACEMENT ).
