DTC P1586 (23): Battery Current Sensor Signal Malfunction: General Description
When the high voltage contactor is turned on, motor power inverter (MPI) module current and battery module current is monitored on the same line across the DC-DC converter that supplies power to the 12 V battery. Therefore, when the MPI module current and the battery module current values are compared and a difference of more than a specified value has occurred for a specified time, or when the battery module current is at a specified value and this condition continues for a specified time when the driving torque of a specified value occurred, a malfunction is detected and a DTC is stored.
