DTC U0037: IMA-CAN Malfunction (BUS-OFF (Powertrain Control Module (PCM)): General Description

The integrated motor assist-controller area network (IMA-CAN) uses two signal lines, IMACANH and IMACANL, and it receives and transmits multiple signals simultaneously to/from multiple control modules. When the powertrain control module (PCM) does not receive the signals via the IMA-CAN lines for a set time, the PCM detects a malfunction and stores a DTC.
