Warm Up TWC Removal/Installation

NOTE: If the warm up TWC is damaged internally, inspect the under-floor TWC for debris.

Raise the vehicle on a lift (see LIFT AND SUPPORT POINTS ).
Remove the secondary HO2S (Sensor 2) (see A/F SENSOR REPLACEMENT ).

Remove the cowl cover and the under-cowl panel (see COWL COVER REPLACEMENT ).
Remove the EGR pipe (see EGR VALVE REPLACEMENT ).
Remove the A/F sensor (Sensor 1) (see A/F SENSOR REPLACEMENT ).
Remove the cover (A).

Remove the bolts (A) and the nuts (B).

Remove the WU-TWC (C).
Install the parts in the reverse order of removal with new gaskets (D).
