DTC P0A3F (89): Motor Rotor Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction: General Description

The motor control module (MCM) obtains the magnetic pole position signal of the motor rotor using the motor rotor position sensor to control motor torque. When an abnormal signal is output from the R/D converter for a set time during each monitoring period, which is repeated, or when the input/output voltage of the motor rotor position sensor is abnormal for a set time, or when the IMA motor speed calculated from the motor rotor position sensor and the engine speed is compared and found to deviate a set amount for a set time, a malfunction is detected and a DTC is stored.
