Malfunction Threshold

One of these conditions occurs:

• An abnormal signal is output from the R/D converter for at least 0.4 second within 0.5 seconds.
• A parity error signal from the R/D converter is detected 4,500 times within 1 second.
• The input voltage from the motor rotor position sensor is 1.26 V or less for at least 0.5 seconds.
• The difference between the IMA motor speed and the engine speed is 600 rpm or more for at least 2 seconds when the engine speed is 500 rpm or more.
