CVTF Temperature Sensor Test

  1. Remove the air cleaner assembly (see AIR CLEANER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ).
  2. Disconnect the solenoid harness 8P connector.

  3. Measure CVTF temperature sensor resistance between the solenoid harness 8P connector terminals No. 6 and No. 7.

    Standard: 50 Ω-25 kΩ 

  4. If the resistance is out of standard, replace the CVTF temperature sensor (see CVTF TEMPERATURE SENSOR REPLACEMENT ).
  5. Connect the connector securely.
  6. Install the air cleaner assembly (see AIR CLEANER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ).
