Rear Power Window Motor Test
- Remove the rear power window switch panel (see REAR POWER WINDOW SWITCH REPLACEMENT ).
- Test the motor in each direction by connecting battery power and ground to the rear power window switch 14P connector (A) according to the table.

- If the motor does not run or fails to run smoothly, go to step 4. If the motor runs smoothly, do the rear power window switch test (see REAR POWER WINDOW SWITCH TEST ).
- Remove the door panel (see SLIDING DOOR PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ).
- Disconnect the 2P connector (A) from the rear power window motor (B).
- Check for continuity between the rear power window switch 14P connector terminals and rear power window motor 2P connector terminals as shown. There should be continuity.CONNECTOR TERMINAL REFERENCE CHART
Rear power window switch 14P connector Rear power window motor 2P connector 1 (RED)(1), (ORN)(2) 1 (RED)(1), (ORN)(2) 2 (BRN)(1), (YEL)(2) 2 (BRN)(1), (YEL)(2) (1) Left rear power window (2) Right rear power window - If the wire harness is OK, faulty rear power window motor; replace the rear power window motor (see REAR POWER WINDOW MOTOR REPLACEMENT ).
