Shift Indicator Does Not Work




Shift indicator does not work

F-CAN communication line error

Gauge control module defective

PCM defective

Transmission range switch defective

Shift cable broken or out of adjustment

Connection between the shift cable and transmission or shift/lever is worn

Notes

Check the F-CAN communication line F-CAN Circuit Troubleshooting.

Notes

Check the F-CAN communication line by using the gauge control module self-diagnostic function.

Notes

Check the A/T gear position indicator drive circuit in the gauge control module by using gauge control module self-diagnostic function Testing and Inspection.

Notes

Inspect the transmission range switch Testing and Inspection.

Notes

Check for a loose shift cable at the shift lever and the selector control shaft.
