Inhibitor Solenoid Removal/Installation

  1. Disconnect the inhibitor solenoid 2P connector (A) and the ground terminal (B).

  2. Remove the inhibitor solenoid (C), then remove the two O-rings (D) from the inhibitor solenoid.
  3. Install the O-rings on the inhibitor solenoid, then install the inhibitor solenoid and the ground terminal.
  4. Check the connector for corrosion or dirt, and clean or repair if necessary.
  5. Connect the inhibitor solenoid 2P connector.
