1. Inspect it as follows.
- Make sure that a 0.6 mm (1/32 in) diameter drill bit will go through the nozzle hole (A) (0.8 mm (0.031 in) diameter).
- Make sure that a 1.8 mm (1/16 in) diameter drill bit will go through the oil intake (B) (2.0 mm (0.079 in) diameter).
- Insert a 1.8mm(1/16 in) drill bit into the oil intake (2.0 mm (0.079 in) diameter). Make sure the check ball (C) moves smoothly.
- Check the oil jet operation with an air nozzle. It should take at least 135 kPa (1.38 kgf/cm2
, 19.6 psi) to unseat the check ball.
