DTC U0100 (Motor Control Module)

DTC U0100  : CAN Malfunction (Traction Motor Control Module - PCM)

NOTE: 

• Before you troubleshoot, review the How to Troubleshoot the Electric Powertrain and Electric Powertrain Service Precaution .
• If any of the DTCs listed below are indicated at the same time as DTC U0100, troubleshoot those DTCs first, then recheck for U0100.

DTC (Electric Powertrain)

1. DTC check

   -1. Turn the vehicle to the ON mode.

   -2. Check for Pending or Confirmed DTCs with the HDS.

   DTC Description	Confirmed DTC	Pending DTC	Freeze Frame

   DTC (Electric Powertrain)

   Are DTC U0100 and any other DTCs indicated at the same time?

   YES 

   Go to the indicated DTC's troubleshooting.

   NO 

   Update the motor control module if it does not have the latest software .
