Malfunction Threshold

Either of these conditions occurs:

• Symptom 1 

  The brake pedal position switch (BRK DIAG line) is closed for at least 5 minutes when the vehicle speed [Vehicle Speed] is at 13 mph (20 km/h) or more.

• Symptom 2 

  The brake pedal position switch (BRK DIAG line) is open for three cycles when the vehicle is stopped (or decelerated to 1 mph (3 km/h) or less) from vehicle speed [Vehicle Speed] over 25 mph (40 km/h).
