DTC P170E: General Description
The park pawl actuator driver unit controls the park pawl actuator to switch to and unlock the P position. The park pawl actuator driver unit uses three lines (MAU/P-ACT MTR U, MAV/P-ACT MTR V, and MAW/P-ACT MTR W) to monitor the voltage supplied to the park pawl actuator. If the voltage supplied to the park pawl actuator is a specified value or more for a set time when the parking actuator relay is not sent the ON command, the powertrain control module (PCM) receives a malfunction from the park pawl actuator driver unit and stores a DTC.
