DTC P1721: General Description
The park pawl actuator driver unit controls the park pawl actuator to switch to and unlock the P position. The park pawl actuator driver unit monitors the information from the IG1 signal to switch the park pawl actuator into operational control mode. If the IG1 signal information detected by the powertrain control module (PCM) and received via the F-CAN is ON and the IG1 signal information detected by the park pawl actuator driver unit is OFF for a set time, the PCM receives a malfunction from the park pawl actuator driver unit and stores a DTC.
