DTC P1722: General Description
The park pawl actuator driver unit controls the park pawl actuator to switch to and unlock the P position. The park pawl actuator driver unit performs an initial learning when the vehicle condition is turned to the ON mode, and it limits the current applied to the park pawl actuator. If the current applied to the park pawl actuator is a specified value or more for a set time when initial learning is performed, the powertrain control module (PCM) receives a malfunction from the park pawl actuator driver unit and stores a DTC.
