DTC P2420: General Description
The fuel vapor containment valve is installed between the fuel tank and the purge passage to be used to shut off the fuel tank from the purge passage except when refueling to create a sealed condition. The fuel vapor containment valve is normally sealed. The powertrain control module (PCM) detects a malfunction and stores a DTC when close signal is returned continuously for the prescribed number of times though open signal is output to the fuel vapor containment valve.
