Operating Condition
Test drive the vehicle as follows:
- Turn the vehicle to the READY TO DRIVE mode.
- Drive the vehicle at a speed of 6 mph (10 km/h) or less for at least 2 seconds.
- Accelerate the vehicle to 25 mph (40 km/h) or more for at least 2 seconds.
- Decelerate the vehicle, and drive at speeds below 6 mph (10 km/h) for at least 2 seconds.
- Stop the vehicle.
While depressing the brake pedal, test the electronic gear selector switches as follows:
- Shift the transmission to other than R position/mode for at least 1 minute.
- Shift the transmission to R position/mode at least 10 times.
- Shift the transmission to other than N position/mode for at least 1 minute.
- Shift the transmission to N position/mode at least 10 times.
- Shift the transmission to other than D position/mode for at least 1 minute.
- Shift the transmission to D position/mode at least 10 times.
- Drive the vehicle in this manner only if the traffic regulations and ambient conditions allow.
