The park pawl actuator driver unit performs the initial learning and controls the park pawl actuator to switch to and unlock the P position by the command from the powertrain control module (PCM). If any abnormalities occur in the position sensor in the park pawl actuator and the condition continues for a set time, the PCM receives a malfunction from the park pawl actuator driver unit and stores a DTC
