DTC P04C9 : Fuel Fill Door Opener Malfunction
NOTE:
- Before you troubleshoot, review the general troubleshooting information .
- When the fuel fill door is opened with the emergency access lever in the trunk, this DTC will be stored.
- If the DTC P04C1, P04C2, and/or P04CD is stored at the same time as DTC P04C9, troubleshoot those DTCs first, then recheck for P04C9.

- Problem verification
-1. Operate the fuel fill door opener switch to open the fuel fill door.
Does the fuel fill door open?
YES
Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time. Check for poor connections or loose terminals at the fuel fill door opener switch and the PCM. If the on-board snapshot of this DTC is recorded, try to reproduce the failure under the same conditions with the on-board snapshot.
NO
Go to the symptom troubleshooting for the fuel fill door does not open .
