Engine Oil Pan: Installation

  1. Oil Pan - Install

    		 1. Apply liquid gasket to the oil pan mating surface of the engine block and to the inside edge of the threaded bolt holes.

    2. Install the dowel pins (A).

    3. Install the oil pan.

    4. Tighten the bolts in three steps; tighten the bolts until the bolts sit on the oil pan, tighten the bolts until the gasket is compressed, tighten the bolts to specified torque.

    5. Tighten the transmission assembly mounting bolts (A).

    6. Install the torque converter cover (B).

  4. Engine Oil - Refill
