Engine Oil Pan: Removal

  1. Engine Oil - Drain
  2. Under-Floor TWC - Remove - Refer to:

    Under-Floor TWC Removal and Installation 

    Warm Up TWC Removal and Installation 

    NOTE:  Do not remove the front secondary HO2S.

  3. Connector (CKP Sensor) - Disconnect 
  4. Oil Pan - Remove

    1. Remove the torque converter cover (A).

    2. Remove the transmission assembly mounting bolts.

    3. Remove the bolts securing the oil pan.

    4. Using a flat blade screwdriver, separate the oil pan from the engine block in the places shown.

    5. Remove the oil pan.
