DTC P2119

DTC P2119  : Throttle Actuator Control Throttle Body Range/Performance

NOTE: 

• Before you troubleshoot, review the general troubleshooting information - Refer to: How to Troubleshoot the Fuel and Emissions Systems .
• If DTC P2119 is indicated alone, do the troubleshooting for DTC P1683 and P1684 using the on-board snapshot data for P2119.
• If any of the DTCs listed below are indicated at the same time as DTC P2119, troubleshoot those DTCs first, then recheck for P2119.
• • P1683, P1684: Throttle Valve Spring

DTC (PGM-FI)

1. DTC check

   - 1. Press the engine start/stop button to select the ON mode.

   - 2. Check for Pending or Confirmed DTCs with the HDS.

   P1683 Throttle Valve Default Position Spring Performance Problem
   P1684 Throttle Valve Return Spring Performance Problem
   P2119 Throttle Actuator Control Throttle Body Range/Performance

   Are DTC P1683 or P1684 and P2119 indicated at the same time?

   YES 

   Go to the indicated DTC's troubleshooting.

   NO 

   Go to the troubleshooting for DTC P1683 and DTC P1684 .
