Starter System Counter Inspection
Test Procedure
- Procedure
- Check the starter counter value with the HDS.
- Do the following works depending on the starter counter value.
NOTICE:
Replacing parts and clearing the starter counter should always be done as a set.

- Normal Conditions
- Work according to the starter counter value has been completed.
Results
- If it is abnormal, do the work according to the starter counter value.
NOTE: If the auto idle stop system indicator (amber) continues to blink, do the symptom troubleshooting for the auto idle stop system does not operate - Refer to: Auto Idle Stop System Symptom Troubleshooting - Starter System Counter Inspection () or Auto Idle Stop System Symptom Troubleshooting - Auto idle stop system does not operate () . If the starter system indicator stay on, do the gauge control module self-diagnostic function .
