Installation Procedure

Fig 1: Installing Exhaust Heat Shield To Studs

NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .

Install the exhaust heat shield to the studs.
Install the exhaust heat shield nuts.
Tighten: Tighten the nuts to 9 N.m (80 lb in).

Install the exhaust heat shield(s) to the studs.
Install the exhaust heat shield nuts.
Tighten: Tighten the nuts to 9 N.m (80 lb in).
