Installation Procedure

IMPORTANT: The electrical contact on the turn signal and multifunction switch assembly must rest on the turn signal cancel cam assembly.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .

Secure by using 2 pan head tapping screws.
Tighten:
- Tighten the screw on the top of the column to 3 N.m (27 lb in).
- Tighten the screw on the side to 7 N.m (62 lb in).
Connect the connectors to the turn signal and multifunction switch assembly.
Install the upper and lower trim covers. Refer to Steering Column Trim Covers Replacement .
Enable the SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling Zone 3 .
