Removal Procedure

Remove the fuel sender. Refer to Fuel Sender Assembly Replacement .
Place the fuel sender on a clean work surface.
Disconnect the fuel level sensor electrical connector (1) from the module connector.

Remove the fuel level sensor retaining clip.
Squeeze the retaining tabs together in order to slide the fuel lever sensor off of the reservoir.
