Power Steering Control Module Replacement

Preliminary Procedure: 
Remove the parking brake lever pedal assembly. Refer to Parking Brake Lever Pedal Assembly Replacement (LHD) .
1 Power Steering Control Module Nut
CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .

Tighten:  9 N.m (80 lb in)

2 Power Steering Control Module Bolt

Tighten:  10 N.m (89 lb in)

3 Power Steering Control Module

Procedure

  1. Disconnect any electrical connectors as needed.
  2. After repairs, set the front toe. Refer to Wheel Alignment - Steering Wheel Angle and/or Front Toe Adjustment .
  3. Use the scan tool special functions menu to perform the Set Up PSCM Calibration procedure.
  4. Ensure all vehicle doors are closed and wait for 30 seconds in order to let the vehicle modules re-enter sleep mode.
  5. Perform the diagnostic system check. Refer to Diagnostic System Check - Vehicle .
