Ignition Lock Cylinder Solenoid Replacement

Removal Procedure





Caution: Refer to SIR Caution (SIR Caution) .
1. Disable the supplemental inflatable restraint (SIR) system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling (Service and Repair) .
2. Remove the steering column trim covers. Refer to Steering Column Trim Covers Replacement (Steering Column Trim Covers Replacement) .
3. Remove the ignition lock cylinder solenoid.



Installation Procedure





1. Install the ignition lock cylinder solenoid.
2. Install the steering column trim covers. Refer to Steering Column Trim Covers Replacement (Steering Column Trim Covers Replacement) .
3. Enable the SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling (Service and Repair) .
