Removal Procedure

Relieve the fuel system pressure. Refer to Fuel Pressure Relief (Without CH 48027) or Fuel Pressure Relief (With CH 48027) .
Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
Disconnect the chassis wiring harness electrical connector (1) from the fuel pressure sensor.

Wrap a shop towel around the fuel pressure sensor fitting in order to absorb any fuel that may leak out.
Remove the fuel pressure sensor from the fuel line.
Remove and discard the fuel pressure sensor O-ring seal.
