Installation Procedure

    Fig 1: Remove/Install Accelerator Pedal Position APP Sensor

  1. Install the accelerator pedal/APP sensor over the studs.
    2. CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution
  2. Install the accelerator pedal/APP sensor nuts and tighten to 9 N.m(80 lb in).

  3. Connect the body wiring harness electrical connector to the APP sensor.
  4. Inspect below the pedal for binding, to ensure full range of motion.
  5. Install the knee bolster bracket. Refer to Driver Knee Bolster Bracket Replacement (Right Hand Drive) or Driver Knee Bolster Bracket Replacement (Left Hand Drive) .
