Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the air cleaner outlet duct from the air cleaner. Refer to Air Cleaner Resonator Outlet Duct Replacement .
  2. Disconnect the engine wiring harness electrical connector (1) from the mass airflow (MAF)/intake air temperature (IAT) sensor.

  3. Loosen the integral air cleaner housing bolts (2).
  4. Remove the air cleaner housing (1) from the vehicle.
