Removal Procedure

    Fig 1: Air Cleaner Upper Housing Retainer Clips

  1. Remove the air cleaner outlet duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Resonator Outlet Duct Replacement .
  2. Release the air cleaner upper housing retainer clips (1).

  3. Open the air cleaner upper housing (1).
  4. Remove the air filter element (2) from the lower air cleaner housing.
  5. Inspect the air cleaner assembly for debris or damage and repair as necessary.
