Installation Procedure

    Fig 1: Engine EVAP Line & Quick Connect Fitting To EVAP Canister Purge Solenoid Valve

  1. Remove the caps from the intake manifold port and the EVAP canister purge solenoid valve.
  2. Connect the engine EVAP line (1) quick connect fitting to the EVAP canister purge solenoid valve. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .
  3. Connect the engine EVAP line (1) quick connect fitting to the intake manifold. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .
  4. Install the intake manifold cover. Refer to Upper Intake Manifold Sight Shield Replacement .
