Installation Procedure

Fig 1: Fuel Feed And EVAP Line Clip & Fuel Line Bracket

CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .

Position the fuel pipe bracket (5) and install the bracket bolt (6).
Tighten: Tighten the bolt to 4.5 N.m (40 lb in).
Install the fuel feed and EVAP line clip (4) to the fuel line bracket.

Position the chassis fuel feed and EVAP line assembly (3) bracket tab to the crossmember.
Install the chassis fuel feed and EVAP line bracket bolt (2).
Tighten: Tighten the bolt to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
Connect the EVAP line quick connect fitting (1) to the chassis EVAP line. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .
Connect the fuel tank fuel feed line quick connect fitting (4) to the chassis fuel feed line. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .

Install the fuel pipe bracket onto the stud.
Install the fuel pipe bracket nut (3) to the transmission stud.
Tighten: Tighten the nut to 9 N.m (80 lb in).
Lower the vehicle.
Connect the chassis fuel feed line quick connect fitting (2) to the fuel rail. Refer to Metal Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .
Connect the chassis EVAP line quick connect fitting (1) to the EVAP purge solenoid. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .
