Removal Procedure

    Fig 1: Engine Wiring Harness Electrical Connector & MAP Sensor

  1. Remove the upper intake manifold cover. Refer to Upper Intake Manifold Sight Shield Replacement .
  2. Disconnect the engine wiring harness electrical connector (1) from the manifold absolute pressure (MAP) sensor.

  3. Remove the MAP sensor retainer (1) from the intake manifold.
  4. Remove the MAP sensor (2) from the intake manifold.
