Installation Procedure

    Fig 1: Air Filter Element

  1. Install the air filter element (1), and close the air cleaner housing cover.

  2. Engage the 2 air cleaner housing retainers (1) securing the cover.

  3. Connect the AIR pump inlet hose (1) quick connect fitting to the air cleaner assembly. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .

  4. Connect the engine wiring harness electrical connector (1) to the MAF/IAT sensor (2).
  5. Install the air cleaner outlet duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Replacement .
