Installation Procedure

    Fig 1: Removing/Installing Air Injection (AIR) Pump Inlet & Outlet Hoses

  1. Install the AIR pump outlet hose to the vehicle.
  2. Connect the AIR pump outlet hose quick connect fitting (2) to the AIR pump. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .

  3. Connect the AIR pump outlet hose quick connect fitting to the AIR check valve. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .
  4. Install the air cleaner outlet duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Replacement .
  5. Close the hood.
