Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the fuel rail assembly. Refer to Fuel Injection Fuel Rail Assembly Replacement .
  2. Disconnect the fuel injector harness electrical connector from the fuel injector.
  3. Remove and discard the fuel injector retainer clip.
  4. Pull the fuel injector from the fuel rail.

  5. Remove and discard the fuel injector O-ring seals (2, 4) from both ends of the fuel injector (3).
