Fuel Pump Test

Turn ignition switch to OFF position. Apply battery voltage to fuel pump drive terminal (Yellow wire on Elantra, Excel and Scoupe; Black/White wire on Sonata). See Fig 1 -Fig 4 . Remove fuel tank cap and listen for fuel pump operation. Pinch fuel hoses by hand and ensure fuel pressure can be felt.
